The negative perceptions of trade schools have been detrimental to the industry’s efforts to recruit new talent in construction. The COVID-19 epidemic caused a shift in attitudes towards alternative education options. This resulted in higher positive attitudes towards trade school. This position allowed construction firms to showcase the potential for career growth in their industry and the many opportunities to explore new technologies.
